PI BETA PHI Pro Am

After a long day in the sun, Advocate Andrew Matthews takes fifth in the Pro Am that the wonderful ladies of USCD's PI BETA PHI sorority hosted. It was difficult surf with very minimal swell in the water.

NSSA West Coast Championship

Rory Golden is at it again. Last week he surfed in the NSSA West Coast Championship at Huntington Pier. Despite minimal waves and Grey weather, Rory finished 4th in this Regional Championship while rockin the Jail Byrd Trunks!

Rory has had an outstanding season and has qualified for Nationals! Wish Rory luck as he travels down to Orange County next month to compete for the title.

Sudden Sand Bar

Some Advocates tumbled across a sweet little sand bar the other day and grabbed some small pounders! Advocates Andrew Mathews, Brad Golden and Rory Golden were shocked at the little peek that kept them coming back. Body surfing turned out to be the best choice!
Brad did not stand a chance on this one and all we are left with is a little tail and fins!

Past Swell

Advocate Lee Redmond putting down a strapping turn during our last swell. Not sure when the advocates are going to sack up an rock some trunks in the water but I think it is possible!

Taking the Cake

Not sure who's cake it was but it is definitely now Advocate Rory Golden's! This weekend Rory took top honors at the Pismo pier Jam fest 4 longboarding. Unfortunately, he is to much of a Loafer to rock a pair of Trunks during the event. No worries, NSSA Championship is around the corner and I have a feeling we might see some trunks taking the cake!
